Acetylene Headlights

Mike Miller and myself have been mucking around a little with some headlights from 1917/18 era coal scuttles.

This is Mikes running on Acetylene " only about 1 psi of pressure"

Had a play around thus morning and hooked up my acetylene bottle to the light, found not a lot of difference in the light but the heat was a lot more.

LPG temp 73c max 76c
Acetylene temp 103c max temp 130c
