Need a passenger side exhaust manifold for a 1975 IH 500 farm truck with the 345. Manifold exits to the rear as opposed down the center.

When all alts fails try Googling for tube headers. We had a set as a door prize at the local IHC show and shine. I won the headers and returned them to the draw. I do not have an IHC V8.
Another source may be from a Scout parts dealer. Our local Scout guy id Rod. SCOUT PLUSS in Hope, BC

Thanks, I have been looking on line but all headers I have found exit out the bottom of the header. Unfortunately they exit right on to my motor mount. It looks like the 500 series was only made a couple years and the rear exit headers are specific to that truck. I may have to have a custom header made but I'd rather keep the truck stock. I bought the truck from the original owner off a farm here in Idaho with 58,000 original miles.

'74 trucks were introduced with a number of changes- exhaust manifolds, motor mounts, motor position in the engine compartment, coil spring front suspension and wider front track width on lighter models, etc. I believe the rear dump manifolds are common to all '74 and '75 500 series and smaller V8 IH trucks. Center dump manifold are available new from the aftermarket. I don't know if that's true of the rear dump style.

Have not found any aftermarket rear dump. I understand the rear dump were only made a couple years, were made out of some bad cast iron and are prone to crack especially the passenger side.
