Re: 61 to 68 front lenses

Since those are clear lenses, I would assume they are for the earlier of that range. While it is possible to use amber colored bulbs behind clear lenses, and these certainly could be used that way, most cars and trucks were Federally mandated to switch to the amber color for parking lights/signal lights in 1964. True there could be some time differences between USA mandates and other countries.

When, in 1975, I was looking at the local IHC dealer to replace the lenses of my L110, I discovered the lenses for a ‘64 Scout were exact replacements for my truck with the exception of being amber instead of clear. Therefore, they’ve been amber since then. Even the housing for the lights were identical and the bezels were chrome. I’m not sure how many years after 1964 they were interchangeable, but a model change of the Scout resulted in bigger parking lights.
L110 owner since 1974, finally rebuilt 2014.

Re: 61 to 68 front lenses

I went off the IH Parts America vendor site at the top of the main page, if I had a truck like that amber bulbs is a must. I think these lenses were made later when amber bulbs were made, I have seen older pick ups with amber lenses. I could not believe the amount the vendor wants, but they must be hard to find. I have no need for these.
