Here's my two cents:
On the later IHC trucks through about 1960 I've found that the BIG SIX pattern stuff front axle uses 1/2 ton brakes.
Kinda disappointing?
I have no idea on D-15 as they are incredibly rare. At least here. I've owned lots of D-2s and D-30s.
I suspect that D-15 is closer to half ton than D-30.
Please let me know what you figure out.
However, Ebay has any number of vintage bulk brake shoe material auctions, rivet and riveter machines. It's amazing!
I bought a stand up brake riveter and lots of rivets. Waiting to measure for my first load of bulk brake shoe material.
