here if no title, you have to send a registered letter to last known owner (if known) if it comes back undelivered or no known past owner, you then get a 3 year registered owner title,
in that 3 year time someone can claim it and take it from you, provided they have proof, so,,,,,,a historic document would be the preferred way to go if no title or previous owner info can be found,
with it you own it as soon as paper processes, usually 2 weeks.
