The end of this forum

I was talking with the last moderator a few minutes ago. He told me that the owner of this forum is going to let the forum slide into history and become a distant memory. We could see the end sometime this fall.
This could be an opportunity for the right person to take over and keep the Old IHC Forum alive.
I have the time and I think I can afford the modest yearly fee, BUT, I have to determine if I want the extra responsibility in my life. I am not getting any younger and at 78, I am a poor bet for another 10 years.
If anyone is interested?? CB89, it would be a near perfect opportunity for you, I think.

I don't know enough about running websites to run one. The most I can do is keep the spam off if given the authority to do so. I do that for an A/C site I frequent. It has been a several time a day effort sometimes.
I will be sad to see it go, if it does. I hopefully will remember to download some of the part lists.

Yes. I feel the same. Not a computer person either so definitely out of my wheelhouse. Would be great if someone could step in, if only for a little while.

I was thinking about you, you get my vote. I can't/ don't know enough, it needs someone who understands the ins and outs of site running. If that is your bailiwick, then please do. It would be a shame to loose all the stuff here.

I think we should be able to pony up some financial help from the forum members.
