NAPA catalogs

In one of my searches I stumbled upon a real gem on a Winnebago site of all places.
Digital NAPA parts catalogs!
http://www.napaecatalog.com/erack.php

They aren't downloadable (BOO Hiss!) but sure beat their crummy online catalog IMO in many cases except crossing numbers. I've been using it quite a bit and one thing that helps is to have the online catalog open in another tab so you can check the part(s) out.

A nice feature is when you find the page number you want from the index just clear the counter in the top center, type it in and hit Enter,it opens to that page. 8-)

I worked at NAPA as a teenager and looked through many old catalogs during lunch. It's amazing what they have in their warehouses - if you can find it.

Are you able to do screen shots? Maybe this is a Smartphone thingee. I connect my BlackBerry to the computer and transfer the page (s) to a file.
Napa have one of the best tools and equipment catalogs. Getting one of these catalogs is the challenge.
I agree, their online is challenging.

They also had one of the best selections of carb kits and parts. Same goes for the electrical parts, ignition stuff, filters, and a lot more. The local stores have only a fraction of it in stock. For a few weeks I worked at one of the distribution centers and it was packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of goodies.

These catalogs really help. In the past 10 minutes I've already found stuff I couldn't find with keyword searches.

Well, It's nice to see people are looking here,I wasn't sure since nobody commented. :o
I've been using the catalogs more and more and keep finding more and more. 8-)
There's all kinds of stuff, you just have to look thru things. :m03104:

I'm not sure about screenshots Brian but,I have an app. (MS) called a Snipet tool which does basically the same thing and I can use it OK. So I would try it and find out.

I mentioned this thread to my favorite NAPA guy and he said that without supplier catalogues, he would be done, like toast. His active catalogues total over two hundred. Part numbers make both of our lives better, but this guy can do well with a vague description. I was able to qualify for one of the NAPA tool catalogues. The selection is fantastic. Because this is Canada, half of our catalogue are in Quebec French.
Here is something interesting about NAPA parts. The part numbers are more often than not, different on the American and Canadian sides of the border.
http://www.napacanada.com/en.aspx north of the 49th.

http://www.napaonline.com/ if you are south of the border.
I noticed that there is a mixture of countries where Cole Hersee parts are made. I thin CH is one of the best. I often get HELLA and some BOSCH at the BMW recycler.
Weather Pack is sold here under the PICO name.
As soon as this rush to the finish line is over, I am going to restock my Weather Pack at http://terminalsupplyco.com/ The savings to me are significant.

I just downloaded several .pdf versions of the NAPA catalogs.
