More old IHC discussion pages

hi,
I just came across these old IH discussion pages. It appears to be more than 10 years old from the dates I see. Perhaps this is already listed here, but I didn't see it. I don't know if it's part of another old forum but just thought I'd share it. It's called IHC Digest otherwise I don't know anything about it. Here's the link:

Re: More old IHC discussion pages

The "Digest" has been around for many a year. It is a pure text message system managed by majordomo.
Ok, this is getting to sound like another language...

The people that are still using it are the old die hard's. And yes, I am on it.
Next time a message comes through, and if I remember, I will post the instructions on how to get on it.

The "Digest" is not a part of OldIHC.org but is a part of the IHC community.

Now we're talking... I am completely fluent in that language, beeing the old geezer I am. :whistling2:
Long time since I used any mailinglists though, but it's nice they're still there.

Paul,
Then this brings back memories of when we had dial-up connections and we polled another computer to get our messages.
About 25 years ago. or more....

Re: More old IHC discussion pages

Oh yeah, those were the days... 300 Baud modems, and 20+ people logged in and working on a pdp-11 with 64K RAM...
Just as a little piece of old school computer porn, I'll share that I actually have a Fujitsu Eagle Harddrive. It's manufacured in 1984, and has 1GB storage space! It's about 4 ' deep, 19" wide, and 12" high, weight is about 100 lbs, and on start-up the lights flicker... :t3717:

Hi, I'd be interested in reading what has been posted on it. How do I get on it?
Thanks.

It looks like you knew at one time, but it also is long gone. Stuff doesn't always stay on the .net for ever.
