Re: Hay Carbking

They are really only for inline engines, if you put one on a common V manifold you would only feed one bank until the secondary's started to come on line, make for a real interesting ride! With the lack of inlines needing 350 or 500 CFM's I am not surprised they are rare. Even a 300 Ford would be hard pressed to tax the 350 CFM version and only and all out racing 6 would need the 500.
Might be an option for Kevin's Turbo silver Diamond, although the 5200 Weber clone might be better suited, one would have to map out the CFM's and ovelay that with the turbo map.

Re: Hay Carbking

Don't forget to convert the 2-barrel rating (3 inches Hg) to the 4-barrel rating (1.5 inches Hg).

http://www.thecarburetorshop.com/Carbsh ... andCFM.htm

The 350 CFM 2-barrel converts to 247 CFM.
The 500 CFM 2-barrel converts to 354 CFM.

I ran a 400 CFM Carter AFB 4-barrel on my 300 CID Ford shop truck successfully for many years and several hundred thousand miles.
