Re: Dierk's Garage

I just wanted to post a picture of this Rivett lathe. It's stupendous. Most likely belt driven back in the day and then converted. Only $3500 on Ebay.

Re: Dierk's Garage

I ran across this picture of a old early 1920s Indian Dealership. On the far left is a Bowser Gas Boy just like mine.
That means I'm in the right era with my Bowser. :)

Monson, maybe a long time ago it was, this was an old machine back in the 80s.

Re: Dierk's Garage

That was a bit obtuse. The machine I remember was a really old machine back when I frequented the car parts store in the late eighties and early nineties. So the machine may have been the standard, just way back before WWII.

Re: Dierk's Garage

Are you talking about the Bowser Gas Boy? I may have seen a few around. I didn't realize how old they were. Mine has "Metz Cars" painted on it. Metz cars are 100 years old or so.
My Gas Boy came to me via the collector Boyajians of Dinuba, CA. They collected it years or decades ago. I paid up for it but it is so cool and perhaps much cheaper to buy than a visible pump of the same era?
It will look great next to my antique projects.

No the Wiedenhoff tester. I fear that I am not doing a good job of being clear.

OK! Got it!
Other than Smith Auto Parts in Dinuba I've never seen another Weidenhoff Generator Tester. And I've been in lots of parts stores.
