I use to have that check your shorts bit on a bumper sticker on one of our trucks.

Heres a Molcsan Electric Company classic try at humor ;

So what do you call a gang of us electricians ??
-Wirenuts.
So the gang of wire nuts split up what do you call them now..
-Splitbolts..
Years past since this gang of electricians split up , they stay in touch but now days we are all wrapped up it our busy lives always tied up with something or other..
-Were now known as the Ty-wraps..
-What do you call an electrician in heaven?
-Lighting bolt..
So goes the life cycle of a former electrical gang member..

and yes, I won't be quitting my day job anytime soon...

Don't get caught pulling your wire. Your main squeeze might be shocked and blow a fuse.

Harvey jokes are not current. I think he is going through a phase. Harvey needs some new lines. Watt else is happening? Harvey thinks transformers come from Toys R Us.

When an electrician steps on a nail it Hertz.
If the electrition's teeth are chattering it is AC. If his teeth are clenched, it is DC.
Harvey shops at Ohm Depot. Electrician's favorite TV is current events. :t2102:

Hard to troubleshoot your problem , but from what I can tell from your stab at humor,
you for sure have a blown fuse and are running open delta.

My son and I replaced the black bottom skirt with a flat steel plate and four casters. Two of the casters are locking. The Delta grinder moves easily, now.
The bottom space will be a good for belt storage. I may add DZUS fasteners to the cabinet.
My ordered American Rotary phase converter should be here on Monday.

I wired in a Static convertor for a friend's Bridgeport mill, as it had a motor that wasn't readily replaced with a single phase unit.
Rotary units are basically a 3 phase motor run on two legs of single phase, the windings in the motor "produce" the 3 phase. IIRC there is a "run capacitor" inline with the single phase to make the voltage "lag behind" the current to induce 2 phases so the motor will turn.

I know two guys who bought American Rotary. Both of them like the system. I have done my due diligence and I am confident of my choice. :t3901;
