Re: WHAT DID YOU DO IN YOUR SHOP TODAY

I spent part of my day cleaning and detailing a KENNEDY KITS 520 machinist toolbox. I have two other Kennedy look-a-like machinist boxes in an older Craftsman (silver)and a Canadian Made BEACH (green). The Kennedy goes on Craigslist in a few minutes.
These toolboxes are so much alike. The drawers interchange. Kennedy always gets a much higher price.

I spent part of the last few days replacing the motor on my little 4x6 bandsaw. It worked okay most of the time for what I need, but last time I used it I ran it too long and let some of the smoke out. It still worked afterwards, but got hot very quickly. I installed a 3/4 HP TEFC DC motor with variable speed controller. I don't think I'll need to replace the motor again. ;)

I gathered up all of the tools related to automotive wiring and sorted the lot into my CRAFTSMAN Kennedy-look-a-like machinist tool box. This included all of the WEATHERPAC tooling.

Re: WHAT DID YOU DO IN YOUR SHOP TODAY

The worst and possible the best part of aging is a failing memory. My wife has suggested that I may be over qualified to hide my Easter eggs this year.
So, there I am rummaging around my shop and looking inside some dust covered cabinets. If it were not for my good thinking, at the time, where I left notes with some details of where, when and how much, I could have remained puzzled about what I found.
Rather than going into great and boring detail on the new-to-me-again-again bits and pieces, I think I should post a few pictures. If I have posted this before, there will not be an apology from me. :h0212:

Somehow, I was not surprised to hear that at one time in your life, you were a stripper.

Er, I mean a striper. I think.

Re: WHAT DID YOU DO IN YOUR SHOP TODAY

Stripper.
An individual; male or female, with the athletic prowess of a jungle cat and the tits (or balls) enough to take off their clothes and dance around butt naked in front of a crowd of people for tips. These people are adept in the art of flirting, fantasy creation and erotic dance. Not a profession for the weak willed or faint of heart, it is an art not understood by many and thus often disrespected.
The athletic part leaves me out, now.
My friend Rod does "body painting" He is very good at what he does. He told me the benefit "package" is really good. Would this make him a stripper striper? Lloyd may not allow me to post pictures of Rod's handywork.
