I don't think this is something that happens in Canada.

It is Halloween trick or treat night. Last year no one came to the door. The problem for the candy beggars is, we live on a steep hill and there are only four houses. If a person walks down the street, they may have to walk back to the top of the street.
The time now is 19:17h and so far there has been one kid. His Dad was following along in a car while watching his ankle biter hit up the homes for loot. The ten year old was dressed as a homeless person and had topped of his costume with a red MAGA cap.
My daughter asked the MAGA kid how much candy he had collected, so far. He showed her a few mini chocolate bars and a rock. He got a big handful of treats at our door.
It is raining heavily.

If any person believes their military gave their lives to protect the life and privileges we enjoy, that person must vote. Not voting says, "I don't give a **** about what it took from those who gave all or most of their life.
Next time you see a veterian, tell that person, "I Voted and thank you for your service so I can vote."

Canadians are watching this election. The outcome is a very big deal, well beyond the USA.

On the state level there were three races that were important to me and all three came out the way I had hoped (and voted) including the race for county sheriff. I'm real pleased the election results. Nation wide I am still trying to digest what happened there, it may take another news cycle before I get the big picture.
