I agree with almost all what you have said here. The politions are so currupt that is hard to see how we will get out of it. The media is not a fan of Trump and many aren't. That is OK but when they are only reporting negative stories on Trump in which many have needed to be retracted it tells you something. It will be interesting to see what comes of the John Durham investigation. I believe the media is tied i to that story as well. I agree that many of the best democratic candidates are gone but alot was their own doing. The only way that they will win if they get a moderate where they can get their old democratic base as well as some idependence. It will be interesting for sure. For what it is worth I am a half breed. I have dual citizenship as my mom is Canadian. I remember when I was a kid how much my grandpa hated old man Trudeau. He is gone now but i mussed have inherited some of his thoughts.
I've watched trump on live TV enough to see there is no good news to report. Biden is no prize, but thank goodness for small favors.

Re: politic on the board

It's shaping up to be another election year where instead of having two strong viable candidates to chose from it once again has come down to choosing the lesser of two evils. Biden would be my last choice for the democratic nod but there he is and I like many voters this year that will be falling in the "anybody but Trump" category.

I wish Cuomo would run, Biden is a weak candidate,

he doesn't understand how to pro-act to dumps mind games, Hillary reacted to trump instead of pro-acting to him, Biden will react too,

he is a specialist at F ing with people, he knows how to set the narrative, he has zero shame so you can't shame him.

Biden will be humiliated,

I too am a anybody but trump,
we tried the reality star and we got a reality star,
he rage tweeted all weekend, was not going to do press briefings anymore,,, then heard Cuomo was doing one so they whipped together a quick one in Rose Garden at Exact same time as Cuomo's

Jon,
You are right that Trump will absolutely destroy Biden. May not have been the case 2-3 years ago as they are both fighters and Joe is likable. He is far from being very sharp now. He is also kind of like Hillary in the way that he is not real exciting to be able to energize the party. I just hope that he picks a real capable running mate as I suspect we will need them if he were to be elected.

I know that everyone has pushed for Coumo to run but that cannot happen now unless something happens to Biden. And even if that was to happen I am not real sure what the process would be. It is not like a brokered convention could have been with no candidtae over 50%. Also I am not sure that Coumo would do well outside of NY. Maybe he will run next time and we will see.

I doubt this to be true. You will have a better chance of being accepted, if and when you apply. Applying is not a guarantee of being accepted. There are conditions.
My mother was born in Nebraska and remained a US citizen all of her life. I have no intention of applying for US citizenship because I have never lived there and I have never been part of anything that goes on south of the border.

Re: politic on the board

Nikki,
There was a special provision in Canada if you were born between 1947 and 1977 and your mother was Canadian where you apply and get you citizenship without applying through the normal process. Not sure it is still available now. I applied just prior to 911 and still got my citizenship in like 60 days or less. It was also like $125. So it is true. Were you doubting it just because it is more difficult now?

My mom was born in Wynyard Saskatchewan and they moved to the coast in the 50's. They lived most of the time in White Rock on Boundry Road right on Peace Arch park and on the back side of Peace Portal golf course. My uncle was actually the head caretaker of the Peace Arch Park on the Canadian side. I have always said that the Canadian side of the park is a lot nicer than the US side.

Re: politic on the board

Nikki,
I should have also mentioned that I wanted it because I live about 10 miles south of the border and thought that if I ever wanted to work up there it may come in handy. Never happened and I am retired now. After I got by dual citizenship I could have also applied to get my kids Canadian citizenship automatically but I never did. Years later when my daughter graduated from the University of Washington she moved to Toronto to be with her boyfriend that was working on a project for Microsoft there and she could not work. I checked into seeing if she could still get citizenship and this was no longer an option with me not living there or maybe not being born there?

Also technically when I was 18 I could have decided to be Canadian or US citizen but since I did not do anything I was US. Now I have dual citizenship but the US does not technically recognize that I have been told. Whenever I go through the border I just always say US to keep it simple.

On another note I am looking for a R or S series front bumper for a 1955 R112. Any luck? Jon had a real nice one prior to me buying the truck but by the time I committed to this thing he had already sold it.
