Re: politic on the board

There is a rumor going around on this side of the border that suggests we may get Sarah Palin as the USA ambassador to Canada. I can hardly wait.

I hope she makes it to Canada as ambassador. She is a comedians dream come true. We need a few laughs on daze like today when the snow is up to the family jewelry instead of shouting,
" Drill baby drill ", she can chant " Shovel baby Shovel. "

Re: politic on the board

I Googled Sarah Palin and I have to admit she is nicely put together.
Here in Canada the government funds something called ESL or English Second Language. This where persons new to Canada learn to communicate in Canadian. I think we can afford to help Sarah learn to speak Canadian, but, why spoil the fun. EH? I think too many Canadians take things of Government way too seriously. A little levity at a time like this might help to warm our hearts in these cold winter months and we can look forward to the warmer weather when the new Ambassador goes to the beach in a two piece bathing suit. Let me highly recommend the beach at Vancouver's Famous and popular Kitsilano. If the new Ambassador has the derring do I would make the extra effort just to see her at Wreck Beach. http://www.wreckbeach.org/
This could be so much fun.

Normally don't say anything but a spade is a spade

There is a difference between someone commenting on the political landscape with the people who choose to put themselves in politics and personal attacks of people on the board. If you can't see the difference, than please refrain from posting on the topic. As Lloyd has said, there are people from all viewpoints on the board. Disagreements are bound to pop up, but personal attacks are never welcome. We can disagree about 6 volt-12 volt, and about restoration vs rat, these off topics should be no different.
I hope this thread can stay open and we can move on.
