Re: politic on the board

He was a man that was greater than just his political views, one to be respected. Our country has suffered a great loss. Was courageous to the end, it take courage to know when the fight is lost and surrender to the inevitable.
I didn't always agree with the man, but always respected him. I choose the other candidate when he ran for president, but think he wouldn't have been a bad one either. I would have gladly voted for him over Hillary!

HE SAID:
President Trump appeared to slam trade talks with Canada in a tweet late Saturday evening, writing that the U.S. "shouldn't have to buy our friends" Maybe Canada needs more then $130,000usd and Canada wants "protection".

I watched every minute of the John McCain funeral in DC. I cried with Megan, felt respect with Obama and laughed along with Bush. Mr. Kissinger looked good. McCain gets a lot of respect in Canada.

Outside of the Oval Office, he gets a lot of respect down here also, regardless of political affiliation. A true original, there will be no "filling of his shoes". He will be missed. Went thru most of his adult life not being able to comb his own hair, thanks to torture in the Hanoi Hilton. Never complained about it, and was a voice of authority against "enhanced interrogation' by those never exposed to the horrors of what it means to go through it, yet promote it as acceptable. RIP John!

McCain's death is a huge loss for America, I didn't always agree with him but I did respect him. He was a man of principles and wasn't afraid to buck his party or the system when he thought it was the right thing to do. He earned my vote twice, once in 2000 against Bush and again in 2008 against Obama.

Haha, Whenever I see all of these protestors I do wonder why they aren't at work. I have bills to pay, if I had free time I'd be fishing.

Protest is what some people do as a life choice. I have heard them called the rent a crowd. One news report pointed out faces that appear in many protest gatherings. The same news said that the majority of the protesters received welfare from the government.

I understand protesting over an issue that is truly important to you, but I couldn't ever imagine making it into a lifestyle.

"The same news said that the majority of the protesters received welfare from the government."

If that turns out to be true then I know a lot of folks who would be awfully peeved about the use of our tax dollars.

Re: politic on the board

Here, the protests represent enough people, so nothing will be done until there is a court order or the situation becomes unsafe. The majority of persons are busy with their lives and don't have an opinion or get involved.
