My wife was grocery shopping today. She said the store has labeled the products that have had retaliatory tariffs added and those products that will have punishment tariffs added in the near future. . She took the extra time to by ONLY CANADIAN. I have to think she is typical of thousands of other Canadian shoppers.
We are fortunate to live in an area of Canada that is not dependant on import food from the USA.
British Columbia has the only coal port on the west coast of North America. Millions of tons of US export coal pass theough Roberts Bank Coal Port in British Columbia every day. Thinkl about it.

Re: politic on the board

Maybe we should all wear breathing protection. There is a lot of BS particulate coming from our governments.

Re: politic on the board

There’s a lot of BS going on in businesses too. We went to a prominent “big box” home center 6 weeks ago. Bought and authorized the installation of a replacement insulated, well known “brand name”, garage door. (Original door, uninsulated, was over 31yrs. old; good shape, but not current storm rated)
It was installed yesterday and the “name brand” we ordered was only a marketing ploy. The manufacturer was a company we had never heard of but was tied to the “name brand” company through a business deal. The “name brand” is on windows, storm doors and garage doors. But, as it turns out, the only products they actually manufacture are windows. The other two are manufactured by and carry the name of unheard of company’s.
The garage door seems perfectly good and acceptable. We just wish we had been told at the time before we signed on the dotted line that the door we would receive was actually built by an unheard of company. It’s almost like a bait and switch feeling.
L110 owner since 1974, finally rebuilt 2014.

The reason politicians try so hard to get reelected is so they do not have to make a living under the rules they made.
