Our shared border continues to be closed. Canada and British Columbia we have done a good job of dealing with covid19.
One of my neighbours refuses to accept and follow the covid19 protocol. I have lived two doors from him for 43 years. He is always at odds with everything.

Our provincial election is this coming Saturday. Aside from a few no-chance independents most persona have never heard of, we have the New Democratic Party (NDP) The NDP started off socialist and have moved to center. There are the Liberals who are conservative and the Conservative party who most of us have totally forgotten about. The remains of the conservative party is more popular in religious areas.
I voted NDP by mail-in last week. They have been doing a great job so I went with the Status quo.
One of the Liberal candidates just got the "boot" by his party for promoting eugenics and conversion therapy. I am thinking someone forgot to ask those important questions before he was accepted. 105577

Just heard the NDP won in BC, I have no idea what that mean for you or all of Canada, Typical American, I have no idea what goes on outside our boarder, but I do try an listen when I do hear something.

BBC is a pretty good news source for what's going on in the world although Canada being the stable prosperous country (my impression) that it is doesn't seem to get much play there. I have noted the turmoil over the pipe line project and the use of native lands. We have those headaches as well.

The election went as I had hoped it would. The majority of BC voters recognized good government and voted for a continuation. The opposition party leader tried some t-rumpish name calling and it worked against him. After six weeks of campaigning BC will return to peace and quiet and focus on covid19 and early snow in the Highway Through Hell. Until Highway 5 opens, we really cannot get there from here.106722
