On The Junkman Route

Guys, I've made it a habit to befriend the local junkers. It's amazing what they "process".
Today I got five "good to go" 1951 Ford PU wheels. GREAT hot rod, rat rod wheels.
They were $40.00 for five. DELIVERED.
Get on the route!

Re: On The Junkman Route

Those wheels have the 5.5 on 5 bolt pattern. They fit all Ford cars from 1940 until 1949, possibly later. That bolt pattern fits all F pickups under 3/4 ton until Ford changed to the new F150 smaller bolt pattern that ended around 2000. I got $100 for a nice clean set from a Craigslist buyer, about ten years ago. This buyer also bought my set of F100 5.5 on 5 aluminium wheels with the kidney bean windows and caps. These wheels were $300 for four to the buyer. I got them for free.
Nice find. I have a standing order with my favorite Ford Recycler for a few things that interest me.
