Diesels spotted at show

At the Turkey Rod Run this weekend, I came across some non-traditional examples of diesel motivated vehicles. Seems diesels are finding their way into more and more kinds of vehicles - to wit, the motorcycle rat ride shown below and the A model rat rod. While not my style of builds, gotta give someone credit for imagination and creativity.

At one time, my friend and I were planning to try putting a Smart Car three cylinder Diesel in a Harley Davidson frame he had. He died and the project died with him. The Smart Car liquid cooled Diesel engine and transmission package complete with turbo, intercooler and radiator is very compact.
