On the 52 Mercury Holley "teapot" carburetor. It was a simple case of starvation for air that was limiting rpm and horsepower. Once we figured out what the restriction was the old flathead could breathe and put out the power it was meant to back in 1952. Of course it involved much road testing on the back roads and some video.
