Re: 1941 Mack
Until...
Until...
I put some of this and some of that together and it looks like an old truck. And it runs.
I rarely get nice, complete old vehicles. Nearly always pieces of something, only.
This newest Mack I had to pay double for: once for the carcass and again for the transport.
However, there is no place I know where you can find antique Mack trucks just sitting around. And I spend too much time looking NOT to know.
I'm jazzed to have it!
Now I have everything to make an ED (actually "DE" per Mack) pickup EXCEPT bed and rear fenders...bumpers...
I have: correct era Continental engine, bellhousing, clutch, transmission.
EE frame
SRW cast wheels and axles, 20" (for "DE")
E Series cab, front fenders, doors, windshield frame, headlamp buckets,
NICE grille, radiator...
Cab "cabinets" that go beneath the cab
E series seat
Mack E series parts and repair manuals.
