Donald Trump.

I would not like to see this turn into a heated debate. I was thinking there must be some humour in there somewhere.
Here, north of the 49th there are a mixed bag of opinions. I'm not an American but I am curious what the American members of this forum think
Todays grinn was the "Drop to his knees" statement. I know what that means here in Canada. Wow!

Re: Donald Trump.

All I can see is if he wins, your going to have to close the boarder, the stampede North will be like the EU is facing with the refugees. I guess I am too close to it to find humor in "the Donald".

Our news reports system overload on sites specialized in moving to Canada. Some premier locations are advertising check us out.
There is lots of material for political comedians like Bill Maher.
Your politics sure is lively.

Re: Donald Trump.

The comment could have been a double entendre. Either way it was an insult.

Re: Donald Trump.

so I voted in the primary. proudly I did not vote FOR anyone. I vote against a lot of candidates. Our political state is in shambles. not a single candidate on either side worth a vote.

Re: Donald Trump.

I have subscribed to a few American TV channels. I like to watch and listen to the political pundits for Canadian politics and now for the situation south of our shared border. One of the well known American political pundits said, " Be careful what you wish for." How this applies can be in the interpretation of each person it involves.
I have been in the situation where I had to vote for the likely to do the least amount of harm. This vote was for a union president. I saw a video, on You Tube where the choices were going to result in the same outcome. https://youtu.be/28d_VQyt2RI

Re: Donald Trump.

I don't know about the rest of you lot, but I believe there are about 3 dozen worthwhile Senators/Congress'people' (in the USA, of course!), and the rest of the 500 or so are not worth the powder it'd take to blow them to Kingdom Come. Most (all?) of the current crop of candidates are in the 'not part of the 3 dozen' group. The last couple days with the Donald have been bizarre, at the very least.
I find myself wondering just what's going to come out of the Donald's mouth, or wherever, next. Mostly it's been blather, lately, and little enough substance. :t9409:

Re: Donald Trump.

Maybe the time has come where not voting is no longer an option. My Dad used to say, "We are down to voting for the lesser of several evils."
Here is a thought, is it possible for a Republican to vote Democrat under special circumstances?
Your American politics is always more exciting than our politics. Although, I must say, our new Prime Minister, Justan Trudeau has ignited a new passion for politics here in Canada.
I hope you guys get it right because so much, beyond your border, depends on the outcome.
