Her legs wee long enough to qualify for a second postal code. I know my limits and I have long since passed my BEST BEFORE DATE.

_The Silent Treatment_
A man and his wife were having some problems at home
and were giving each other the silent treatment.
Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need
his wife to wake him
at 5:0 0 AM for an early morning business flight.
Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE),
he wrote on a piece of paper,
'Please wake me at 5:00 AM. He left it where he knew she
would find it.**
The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was
9:00 AM and he had missed his flight

Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't
wakened him,
when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed.
The paper said, 'It is 5:00 AM. Wake up.'
Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.

Re: BREAKFAST

My wife got up early today and right after b'fast she started making cinnamon buns. One pan is out of the oven and ready for "expert" testing. Another pan is in the oven and a third is in waiting on the counter.
Sadly, these cinnamon buns are too good to share. Although, for my conscience sake, I could invite Lloyd and CB89 because I am confident they may not make it here in time to claim the last two cinnamon buns. I will save out two c'buns, for 24 hours, just in case. BRJ is close enough to be a threat.

Re: BREAKFAST

Shoot, I was just up by Seattle last night delivering an RV. I could have come up your way, got a cinnamon bun, and if you let me crashed(slept) out in the shop. Darn, Instead, I drove all the way home. Very long day. Did I mention, I hate the rain and rain puddles.

Re: BREAKFAST

After going to this restaurant for 50 years, I have had to break an old and favorite habit. The food had turned to crap. My last thme through their door was last December, 11. My wife picked up nachos at the restaurant, yesterday. I like nachos. This is something new on their menu. OMG, what a failure. It looked like breaded and deep fried potatoes and smelled burned.. I am not going back.
I took Lloyd there, for lunch, and the food was good, then.
A new Tex-Mex has opened here. https://quesada.ca/ I have had their nachos and they are fantastic. I have a few of their burritos in the freezer. I have one for b'fast now and then.

Re: BREAKFAST

I sent an email to the restaurant head office, this morning. I explained, in detail what had happened. The local manager called on my cell and wants to make the situation right. He told me that what I got was in fact nachos. That is the name they gave this new menu item.
I told this manager that I suppose he can call his menu items anything he wants, but, the public have an expectation of something looking like nachos when that is what they buy. I suggested that if my daughter were to bring home a cat and I tell her that cat is a dog in this house. My daughter might think I have gone a little nutty.
So, I was offered a significant gift certificate to make things right. I declined the offer because I was not here trying to get free food. When I was assured that the voucher could be used by anyone, I told him I would give it to a homeless person, who looks hungry.
All is well on the Western Front, tonight. We are having a pasta dish with hand-made rustic bread, baked in a brick oven. I like bread with a crust that will hold up an R120.
