Re: Vet's and active.

As a vet from '70 - '74, I am, for one, very happy to see all the attention vets are now receiving. It has been a real honor to serve our country. We didn't get much attention back then except for a lot of negativity. The conflict in Vietnam tainted a lot of opinions. While I didn't actually go to Vietnam, my service still is impacted by all who did. From my heart, I am grateful that we all now appreciate the sacrifices of the men and women who have and are serving.

Re: Vet's and active.

Even as a non-american I'd like to salute all those who are currently doing, and those that have done, service for their country. I'm old enough to have a pretty clear view on the 'nam era and all the trashing that those guys got afterwards, and I must say that I didn't like them trashings then and still don't.
So, to y'all out there, you're doing a terrific job!
