Wow,Just Wow. I hope with you, that the "luck" changes for them. It is rough on all folks to experience these things, more so, In my view, as we get older.

This is what I was doing forty years ago today. Sadly, I do not look the same. On the other hand she has gotten better looking with my ongoing butt kissing and TLC. I have developed selective hearing and "Yes Dear" automatically rolls off my tongue.
I had rented a POS Cadillac because of pressure from her Father. I had left my Porsche 911 as a deposit on the rental Cad.
Several years later I sold the Porsche to invest in real-estate. A house on our street has increased in sale price by two million dollars, in 40 years.

Thanks CB89. It is Sunday today and most of our favorite eateries are busy and loud. We are having roasted chicken and the usual "fixins' " and staying home. I might make a start on clearing the lift table for the motorcycle. I need to get the bike inside for some repairs.

We are not in the mood to do much celebrating this weekend. Canada is hockey and hockey is Canada. That fatal bus crash in Saskatchewan took the lives of 15 Junior Hockey players. It has shaken our country. Both of my kids were in junior sports. our hearts goes out to the parents for their loss.

I saw a fantastic bumper sticker yesterday. The sticker was on a welder service truck. The sticker said:
OUT OF A JOB YET? BUY AN IMPORT AND YOU WILL BE
It is the responsibility of all of consumers to support MADE IN NORTH AMERICA.

right. the cars/trucks I buy are American owned and did not receive government bailout.
