Re: Virtual Front Porch

It is Thanksgiving in Canada, today. We are doing the usual turkey dinner and all of the "fixins".
One more thing to be thankful for is, we are not having any extended family over. I do not have much to do with the extended family. About the only time we see the extended family is when they need money. We only donate to registered charities.

Re: Virtual Front Porch

I suppose at this point I’m late, but “Happy Thanksgiving!” to all of our Canadian friends.

(I have been wondering what the series of numbers at the end of your posts represent? They don’t appear on any one else’s posts, just yours. What gives?)

Re: Virtual Front Porch

OK.

The majority of the time I’m viewing this site from my I-phone and the number of views are not shown in this format. However, if I were to pull up this site on my desktop or lap top, I’d get the chance to see how many views are recorded. So for the majority of the time the numbers are meaningless to me.
What I have noticed is the reduction in the numbers of posts for this site and I’m concerned that this site may shut down from lack of interest. A loss for all of us.

Re: Virtual Front Porch

I agree with you.
I have tried to keep some kind of dialogue going with some non IHC threads, because having an old Binder is not the end of one's life. There has to be some tool buys and other life experiences that may be of interest.
I have often given Old IHC parts to members to help get an IH on the road.
I am getting old much too quickly and I can see in the not too distant future I will have lost the interest or energy to stay with the program. I have started to make inquiries about disposing of my large stock of L&R parts. I may have Rod at Scout Pluss, in Hope, British Columbia take-over for me.
My Cummins engines and related driveline parts will sell quickly.

This area had the first frost of 2020, last night. The temperature never reached double digit today, although the sun is clear and warmish. The shade is chilly at 9C.
