Re: Closing shop

Congratulations! May you stay in good health so you can enjoy your retirement. I've been fortunate to experience a couple of raft trips down the Snake and must say there aren't too many places any nicer to cast a line! I'm pretty confident you have a few "secret" spots as well. Enjoy!

Re: Closing shop

I hope you find time to stop by the forum every now and then. I wish for you a long and happy one to go along with retirement.
I am river shy, just a little. 54 years ago, I drove my Terra Tiger into the Bow river, south of Calgary, because the TT is amphibious. The bank was low going in but just a little too much for getting out of the river. I drifted with the river for30 minutes. I was thinking of when I might arrive in Medicine Hat where my grandmother lived over 100 miles away. I drifted by a beach like place and finally got out onto dry land. It took me about 20 minutes of rural gravel roads to get back to my tow vehicle and trailer.

Re: Closing shop

My Final thoughts our Business closing :

I have been told by some kind hearted people ,
how lucky I have been, to have a successful business.
As I reflect back today on that notion, it was not luck at all
It truly is and was for me, My Golden opportunity.

Golden to have been born and lived in this Great Nation of Ours ,
where each and every one of us lucky enough to be healthy and able to
pull our selfs up by our boot straps and take to heart these Golden Opportunities we have all been given.

All because of those who came before us and shed blood to create these Golden United States, and the
millions of Our Veterans whom have fought ever since to preserve it for All.

Lastly in my estimation , this leaves Us United, able to help those less fortunate than we,
and this makes us All very lucky indeed !

With some luck this message may find a young abled body person with the notion of starting their own business,
and to also realize what a Golden opportunity they truly have.
The sky is the limit.

May Natures God Bless these United States of America..
