I have a Spicer/Brown Lipe auxiliary transmission Model 8031J

I cant seem to find any info on the net about it. I can find stuff about 8031C and 8031G, but so far nothing on a J model.

I know its a 3 speed in a iron box, from 1948+ and thats about it.

Anyone know anything about it?

I can't say I found anything either, but if all you want to know is the ratio's than you can turn the shafts and count or count the teeth on the gears.

I copied Spicer/Brown Lipe auxiliary transmission Model 8031J and paste to Google and there is lots of information.

IDK, plenty of info on the basic model number but no info on the J suffix, which would be the ratio set.
