The guy who got my old sandblast cabinet lives in the NIKOLA VALLEY, BC. He picked it up today, in Chilliwack. It looked a little different when it was strapped to the roof rack of a JIMMY.
After the exchange, I had to go the airport café called I FLY FOR PIE, since I was up the Fraser Valley anyway.

I received a call from MANUS ABRASIVES. http://www.manusabrasive.com The voice on the phone suggested that my new MOD-U-BLAST E4824DC would be ready for pickup today, the exact time depends on when the courier delivery happens. My first task for the day is to make sure the floor space is clear. I don't want to turn this into a government size job, but, I am thinking a little rearranging might be an idea who's time has come.
Pictures later.

Its a blast. This unit works so much better than anything I have ever experienced. We are so pleased. My son had his Mother on a convenience step-up so she could see inside and give the Blaster a try. Mom said, "totally cool, but it is way too big for me" Xmas came early and my wife gave me half of the cost of the cabinet.
My son got right at "trying out the new toy" and told me that I have to wait until tomorrow for my turn. ;-}>

More work on the drill press. It took nearly an hour to get all of the crud off every surface.

Hey, I'm on vacation this week. Pulling my L to Ohio to the National show this weekend. I could use a piece of that pie to keep up my strength. It's hard pulling a truck 1100 miles! Too many idiots on the road. (Not to mention the herniated disk and pinched nerve in my back the doc told me about before we left)

Make sure you stop at Lyn-Way Restaurant in Ashland, OHIO. They have 5 star review on their pie and the restaurant.
My Mother was a Danish Pastry Baker. She taught her kids how to do what she did so well. Mom showed my wife how to get the perfect pie crust and fillings and I lost my pie duty to my wife because she has a natural talent with pastry.
If anyone is on Vancouver Island near, Parksville, be sure to stop for coffee and the best cake in the world at COASTAL CAKE http://www.coastalcakecompany.com

Always up for a good piece of pie. Only problem is, Ashland is on the other side of Ohio from where we'll be. But I'll certainly keep it in mind.

Google, best pie in Ohio. Just south of here, is Marysville, Washington. Just off the I-5 is Marysville Pie. Well worth the time it takes to stop for lunch.
