OK that makes sense, I didn't think the factory would've built the cabs, But certainly would sell cowl & chassis trucks, most truck companies would sell a cowl forward unit,

then it would either get a stepside panel body, bus body, or whatever,

like I wrote before, I was a member of Diamond T club for 10+ years before it folded, and there is so little to discuss about these trucks anyways, that the factory making wood cabs would've been boner material for the fellows

BRJ, should the wooden cab be saved and used? Does anyone care? Much easier to bolt on the "real cab".

in my opinion wooden cab would only be of interest to fans of the company that used them,

original metal cab would be way to go, not saying wooden cab isn't interesting,,,,but it doesn't pop like if it was unique design,

example here was a guy had a K-3 panel truck that was owned by Ft. Lewis Dairy, they butchered a hole in the side for a big freezer door, the guy found a couple of FT. L D, milk crates and some papers,

with that he decided the "milk truck" was worth $10k, instead of it's original true value of $1500.00 MAX, the thing was actually worth less because of the terrible job butchering it,

But hew was banking on someone being as infatuated with Ft. Lewis dairy as him, only either no one still alive that worked there, or no one cared,

anyway he listed this truck for about 10 years, adamant that the added couple of milk crates increased it's value by $8,500.00, AND no way would he sell without them,

don't know whatever happened to him/it, stopped posting all his other crap too, had a AMF era sportster he was sure was worth $25,000.00

anyway, if it was my truck I'd do the metal cab,

Thanks, BRJ!
Maybe the leftover "wooden cab" pieces will be good "wall hangers"?
Makes life MUCH simpler to bolt on metal cab.

No fuss here, I'm sure I had relatives wearing kilts not that long ago.
As for the Diamond T Sedan...just WOW and I just sent ninjas to behead the man that trashed the original drivetrain...

BRJ, Mr. Diamond T,
What is the pickup bed situation on Diamond T?
Anything else close?
Anybody making them?
Same with rear fenders?
Anthony made the beds?

Anthony made their beds, they also used a express box, I don't know who made them,

I know a few guys who made Anthony beds from scratch, very basic bends, top rail is two 90% bends then a 45% down box wall, no ribs or rolls, a big metal brake is all you need,

I took measurements of one years ago and made bend, cut sheet, I don't know where that is now
