Good deal for the Chevy Guys

I'm kind of partial to the 1954 models for some reason. This one in Idaho must be worth the $600 just for the straight grill.

'54 was the only year for that grille and dash. They were finally catching up to IH with a one-piece windshield and flat bed sides instead of angled.

Yeah, the 54 is very much part of the Advance Design series, but there are a lot of changes that add up to being a very different truck. BTW, that flat-top bed introduced in 1954 survived well into the 1980s with only minor changes in length and fender mounting. Not a great picture, but here's an 8-foot version on a 1980 1/2 ton:
