Re: OUR 40 FORD

While I don't have a picture of it, I have a nice roll around seat that came out of my brother-in-laws medical practice. It's one of those examination stools with air ride/adjust, large soft seat and full swivel. Now all I need is a piece of that blueberry pie ..... and some ice cream. I don't have the foot rest, though. Darn. Lets see, if I .........

Reclining BMW seats feet up on the tool box and a snooze, rides on the Honda out to get Pie and cream. We can only dream. LOL

Re: OUR 40 FORD

I am pleased to have a few really good automobile recycling yards near here. I have known most of the owners and their help for decades. There is so much really good stuff available and the big thing is knowing when to say I have enough.
My biker friend often made the suggestion that he was an OBGYM. If that got any attention he went on to say that he had retired and while he really never knew very much about the subject, he was always pleased to take a look. He had one of those roll-a-round Doctors inspection chairs in his living room just in case "it" moved to the next base. He got a set of "stirrups" out of a medical supplier scrap bin and he had them mounted on his HD.
The tall stool for the blaster cabinet is done and tested. We needed to lift the foot pedal so we can reach it. Does anyone recognize the footrest/pedal holder?

Re: OUR 40 FORD

Today, my son worked on the sound and heat insulation and gave me a hand now and then. the dashboard came out so the insulation under the cowl could be finished. The windshield wiper stations get installed then we put the defrost nozzles back in, for the last time. It will a little tight "under there". I must finish the instrument wire harness ASAP and terminate it with a WEATHER PACK connector.

Re: OUR 40 FORD

****, Brian, I want to hear how that Flatty runs! I'm getting so I can't wait, how are you holding back? I was thinking today how White used large flatheads up until the '60's and even Chry made the Dodge verision until the mid 60's. Their main drawback power wise was the reduced breathing and low compression. with that Eaton blower putting paid to that, I bet it will be impressive, esp with port injection. Don't wait until the white stuff comes down for the 1st road run!

I am taking some time off from the forum. I will never say "never". So I might get back into Posting after a time. Assembly continues on the Ford. All is well

Looking GOOD!
(Looks like there is spacious clearance in that shop of yours! It seems that we tend to fill up what ever space we have, no matter how large it is. Need to get some more tools?)
