My old 56 is patiently waiting by the curb for its turn in the shop for repairs. We should start on it Monday if things go well. General service, brake shoes, suspension repair, and then prep for paint.

Andy, The truck is a RDFC-402, Cummins turbo'd NRTO 6B (335), Fuller roadranger R-1150 9 speed, Timken SLDD top loader rears. Ex Halliburton oil field truck. The truck is 99 % complete. Missing an air cleaner (had duals) and a couple of other small things. Has a broken spring, few oil leaks, couple of other minor things. It's fun to drive and will really get with the program in 9th gear.

If I remember, this truck was posted on this forum back in 2013. I might have a look later. This is an interesting truck. Now if it had an Allison..................................

That's big power for the day, I'm surprised by that. Very cool, I can't wait to see the project develop. Andy

Getting a few things done, suspension, battery relocation, front brakes, and some sheet metal work. Waiting on brake shoes and welding rods. Cab corners, windshield and rear glass seals are next.

Hey, now that's cool! I'm curious how you do the cab corners. Looking forward to seeing more!

Some progress made, packed bearings and relined shoes on front axle. Repaired rear suspension, painted hubs and rims, relocated battery box, and ready to out back together Monday if it doesn't rain all day. Got to finish air shifter on transmission and start on cab corners.
