Beautiful Restoration! I take it that it's Cummins Power?

Re: Back from the paint shop

Bill, The truck has a Cummins HRBB-600, 180 Hp. I replaced the R-95-C with an RT09513 transmission. It has been converted to a PT pump. It's going to be a pretty nice truck if I can ever get time to work on it. Thanks, Dan

Dan,
Looks great. I still need to get over to see them in person. Hopefully next year we have closed the place at Herrington Lake for the winter. Sorry I don't have another Sun Visor for this one....

Terry, Thanks, I found another one after I got the one from you but I'm not really sure that I want to put it on this truck. I'm not sure how it would look. What do you think? There's no doubt the one I got from you really made the other truck. Decisions, decisions, decisions. Here's a couple of pictures of the same truck with and without the visor. Dan

I think with, it just seems that truckers of that era would go for the comfort of keeping sun out of their eyes... It just looks like a big truck item!!

Re: Back from the paint shop

I like the look with the visor, actually a visor looks good on just about any IH model and most other makes for that matter.
But I'm probably a little biased too,I've driven a lot of trucks both with or without and most do have a function other than "looks",some not so much.

Do you have a period trailer for it?
12 yrs.exp. in IH dealer parts dept.
