84 International

Hello folks,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me find a new hood ornament/hood pull for my 84 International 9370 tractor. It has an eagle for the hood pull and it's head is missing. Not very dignified! Unfortunately the only hood pulls I have seen are the bar style for older models and the square style. I can't find an eagle. My truck was a glider if that makes any difference. Thanks for your help.

I think I've attached a picture of my headless eagle. We'll see what happens.

You wouldn't be D Gushee would you? I know he was looking for one a while back and don't know if he found one or not. His had the same problem. (missing head).

Nope, I'm new here. I'm glad to hear that someone else has the problem though, I wasn't even sure if this was factory since I haven't seen another.

You might go over to justoldtrucks.com and give a shout for Daryl Gushee and see if he found a source for one. There aren't many of us Class 8 truck owners on here. I have something similer on one of my 9670 cabovers. Not sure if it is the same or not.
