1966 Detroit Diesel power

So the tag shows Detroit Diesel 6177N, is that the same as a 6-71? Can't seem to find anything on line other than it was in IH trucks

Yeah, 6-71N naturally asperated, so likely 238 hp but could be less.
Picture would help. What "tag" are you looking at?

Also love how I am considered a "rookie". I was the 99th person to register on the oldihc site back in the 90's. So many pictures and information gone forever.

Yeah, I don't remember how many times I have registered on this site. World of computers, crashes happen. At least it is still here. Funny thing is I don't think I've got much further on my RF-190 than when I first registered. LOL
