For you who are fans of International Harvester history like I am, some interesting things are going on. The IHCC (International Harvester Collectors Club), which focuses mostly on the agricultural equipment, annually hosts the Red Power Roundup. In conjunction with those events, beginning in 2015, a man named Dan Kennedy, formerly of the Kansas City zone office, has been inviting former IH company employees, dealers, and customers to share experience of their association with IH. Many of these stories are related to the ag side only and may not be interest to people here, but this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYs2vHen0oM is all about trucks and this man, George Mitchell, his truck collection and his time as a dealership employee, company man and dealership owner. Seeing his collection is now on my bucket list. He lives near Clyde, Ohio (Toledo area).

I enjoy listening to these fine gentlemen who's experience and vast knowledge
will now be preserved for others to enjoy and hopefully respect the wisdom and
the people willing to step up to be on camera.

On occasion I am fortunate enough to hang with some fine potato farmers in Ririe Idaho they meet in a local coffee shop
every morning at 10am. I would not miss the chance to visit with them when I am in town,
Lost history not as long as I can be around.
