So I was looking for videos with good IHC V8 sounds, and the best one was in a Massey Ferguson tractor. In Europe. WTF? Whatever. I like it:

You can practically hear the torque dripping from it. I'm thinking one of these engines would pull my L-110 along quite easily. Hmmm...

Been there, done that. And yes it does. It will take a fortnight to get the smile off your face after the first time you press the loud pedal. It fits.

Watching the video certainly shows how nice the sound is on the 345. Almost any V8 with straight exhaust sounds good to a gearhead, though. Some of the best V8 sounds I've ever heard are from an inboard boat with tuned exhaust burbling out the back.

I've never posted anything to youtube, but I'll be at an antique truck and tractor show at an International Farmall museum tomorrow. Part of the festivities is tractor pulling and some of the turbo-charged IHC tractors are making some serious HP. I'll take some videos, getting them on youtube may take a little experimentation.
