Minneapolis

My wife and I spent this past weekend in Milwaukee at our nieces wedding.
The drive down there was uneventful, but the return was just the opposite.
When we got across the St. Croix, I decided to take the southern route around the metro. This was a good move until we hit that thing called road construction. After we got out of that mess, cruising the southwest part of the metro I came upon a slower moving vehicle that had a camper in tow, and another smaller trailer behind the camper. Getting up to the left rear side of the camper, I noticed fat front fenders on the tow vehicle. To my surprise, it was a D- series truck, no bed, but there was a fifth wheel hitch that the camper was hooked to. The truck was painted in Adirondack green. What a pleasant surprise! Too bad we were on the interstate and couldn't stop to say hello to the driver.
If you know who's truck it was, say hello from me.

Re: Minneapolis

It definitely had a newer engine.
I am pretty sure that the old 6 cylinder flat head that was standard for that truck would not have been cruising near 60 mph.
