Hey guys!! Got my motor mounts welded up finally. I have boxed it in way past the mounts. The 53 R110 has a mustang 2 front clip installed with a 302 from the donor car as well. Just wanted to show some pics of the mounts and see what you guys figured on how it looks for strength and if I need to beef it up a little more? Sorry for the hard to see pics. I painted everything up and then got looking at it wondering if i should of beefed it up a little more. Lol! Thanks for the input.
Cheers!

Unless I'm missing something, I don't see any rubber/urethane isolators. I'm not a fan of solid mounts (except for competition vehicles) the transmitted torque and vibration on a street vehicle is at the least annoying. I noticed a big difference in my T/A going from rubber to urethane. In any case, I feel you will be prone to cracking over time so keep a good eye on those areas. Good luck with your project !

Hey there Mac! Yah you can't see the top of the mounts that are attatched to the motor but they are the ones from the car as well. I'm pretty sure they are rubber
Ill double check when get home tonight. Lol. Thanks for the reply.

just my opinion, if you have achieved full penetration welds, you should be good on the mounts.
