Chris,
The rear end I have is a Dana 60 out of a mid 60s or so IH 3/4 ton. It has the same big 6 bolt pattern as the 50s 3/4 ton full floating axel, had to move the spring perches, and shorten the drive shaft. As far as the motor, best guess at that time had about 10 K on it. It is stock, I may change the rockers to a more modern set up from Murphy Motor Service, not cheap though.

Kevin, I went back to the Keystone Turbo website a few days ago, and I see they have a 4-barrel turbo setup for the 460 thru 806 tractors. Carb is mounted about where yours is.
I'm thinking...maybe I should build that BD-264 after all...LOL....
[only half joking....]

Mr. Buzzman,
I checked the site out as you did, but I think that is for the fully built tractor pulling guys. I have talked to Murpys motor service and he really strokes the tractor motors. He makes lite weight 4130 rods and machines pistons for them which I cannot afford. I have been looking around but cannot find a 264 which I would do the same thing I am doing now with my 240. The turbo would be 1 size larger or different vanes, impellers in the unit according the the turbo guy. I am satisfied with the unit I have now, there is no turbo lag, no rattle, backs down in between gears like a normal carbed motor with more power.
Oh, I had Jeff at Advance Distributors juice up my dist on the low end and limit the vacuum advance.

I was wondering where you can get one of these turbos or who makes them? I have a 57 S164 that has what I believe to be the 240 cu in engine.

I just saw this, I'm not sure, Ask the carbking, he has a mustang turbo if I recall. I use an adjustable jet carb for temperature air / fuel ratio, it makes a big difference, say 60 or 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
good thing for spell check.
Also, what gears do you run, what do you do with your truck?
