I don't think too much should be made of one company having IHC listed in their catalogue. The IHC frame is a simple ladder design, not unlike other manufacturers of that time. The width of the frame where the MII crossmember will be installed is important. After that, it is all about following the instructions.
If all a person has is a HF buzz-box and little or no welding experience, the bolt-in option should be strongly considered.
On this forum, one of the members posted a picture of his welding an IFS to his IH frame. The welds looked like bird droppings. This is totally unsafe.
I like to simplicity of the Crown Victoria Ford IFS modular design. I do not know about the width match-up. I would not take a difference in this area as a deal breaker. https://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&sour ... e_o33SG7es

Can you share an example of a bolt-in solution? I have not yet seen a manufacturer that offers a truly "bolt-in" front-end conversion kit for the 1940-1946 K trucks.

Fat Man (appear to be weld-in, no reference to either "weld-in" or "bolt-in" are made on the product site)

Street Rod Engineering (instructions clearly indicate both provisions for bolting in the kit as well as welding)

I can tell you I just purchased the Street rod Engineering Mustang II front end for my '41 international KB3 woodie.

Why? The product was a little more "beefy" than the other products, they have already dealt with many International KB front end conversions, and it is a smaller shop in Iowa. You can give the owner a call and chat.

Sounds like the Fat Man product is quite good as well.
