I understand you’re prepping to move, but half-inch wheel spacers would provide the clearance you need to stop the rub, but I’d say you probably already thought of that.
L110 owner since 1974, finally rebuilt 2014.

these are temporary wheels so I am not concerned about the slight rub. I have the bed blocked up on the frame and have about a quarter inch on each side, maybe. I just need to get it loaded and unloaded for now. I am not a fan of wheel spacers anyway. when ordering the permanent wheels I will have the fenders on and will be able to take measurements to make sure I get the proper backspacing, width, etc.

my gas tank is custom built aluminum. I provided plans of the size to fit in the space and a month later it showed up. it is set up with an internal electric fuel pump and a return line for a fuel injection motor.
