Anybody have part numbers that can be used to find new u joints?

Not being a smartass...
You cam reuse a perfectly good old u joint if it isn't badly worn or damaged
These are usually the "mechanics" type joint with the teeth on the caps. Is that what you have?
My point being you don't need a modern crossover if an old one is just fine.
Send a picture with dimensions. I save everything off my projects, usually.

Hey MM, I totally get it, I just didn't think there are very many around to get. That's what I meant by modern" , I really mean, just an updated part number as nobody anywhere is able to find them based on the old part numbers I have.

I don't care if it's 75 years old as long as it's in good shape.

That being said, I am going to reuse the existing center joint for now. It's the type with the hole in the center.

I figured it would be a good idea to change it out for new, but seeing how difficult it is to find them, I'm going to stick with the one that's in it.

Thanks again!

Take the caps off and look. Bad ones are pretty obvious.
There IS a seal on each cup that deteriorates. Maybe a modern O ring would take care of that.

There is some discussion on u-joints for a slightly larger truck in this thread-

Unfortunately, the catalog links don't seem to be good.

Right on! Thanks for the help, the machine shop doing the work told me they couldn't find a part number to save their lives, I told him not to worry about it and I'd just use the one that's in it, in lieu of replacing new. So I asked him if he still had the caps I gave him, he affirmed, did the work, gave me a lower price because he wasn't replacing the one ujoint. I go to pick it up and he's got an old ujoint already in the shaft, the exact type I needed. So he basically strung me along for a week and a half claiming he couldn't find a replacement, when he probably has a bucket full of them, pretty sure he was trying to get me to take the forward half out of the truck and pay him to cut/weld all new yolks. At any rate I paid less, and got a free ujoint. He does good work, but little stuff like this make me lose faith in shops.

I have a K4 and need U-Joints. the ones that I have work but the needle bearings have worn groves in the middle cross piece bearing surfaces.
