Bill

Thanks for putting this back up again. Would this also fit on a KS5 right hand drive.

Re: Disc brakes on the stock axle and hubs

Sorry Trevor, it only works on the K, KB 1's and 2's. It is for the 5 stud on 4 1/2" bolt pattern.

could be wrong(not unusual) but thought someone was looking into a big 6 conversion. I just do not remember where I was reading it. It might have been in the Newer ABC series vehicles. Take a gander over there or post up a Question in that area.

It was worth a try, not in any hurry just thinking ahead for when we do start working on the old girl.

Re: Disc brakes on the stock axle and hubs

There's a slightly different parts list for the R. I looked. Go to the "R" section and search for disc brakes.
It's there, it also will fit my B130.

Wildmanbill, thanks for posting this with the part numbers and pictures. What Master Cylinder did you use? Normally you would need a master cylinder that's made for disc front and drum rear.
I appreciate any other info.

Re: Disc brakes on the stock axle and hubs

That poses an interesting question. If you use a Corvette master cylinder, does that make your truck run faster or stop faster?
