The details that you are putting into this are off the chain . It's really going to be a show stopper !!

Thank you manicmechanic, I really appreciate the comment. This has been as enjoyable as I hoped it would be for the many years I dreamed of building a hot rod pickup. I honestly can't wait to get started on another part of the project as I finish the previous one.
I hope everyone else is having the same experience with their vehicles.

Re: Cab is on the chassis and installing parts

Check this out guys. Tandem windshield wipers running on a single motor with 2 speeds and auto park. Got the idea from very early English French and German cars like BMW 315, a 1934 Voisin C35 Aerodyne, etc.
Here is a video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AilT1Q1tN10 of it operating and a few pics below on the install. The passenger side is a slave shaft and the motor is installed on the driver's side. And yes, the covers go back on with no issues. The motor is an Ongaro Heavy Duty 1.5" 12V 2-Speed Wiper Motor 31991. This is typically used for high end marine installs. Not a cheap repo of the American Bosch single speed, original motors like Marinco etc.

BMW is a German car made in Bavaria. Bavarian Motor Works. Maybe your computer spell checker didn't like BMC. My BlackBerry is a constant source of embarrassment.

No matter, was just trying to relay where the idea came from. Thanks for the correction, I edited it.
