Wildman, that is a nice setup. I might try that on my '39 Dodge with a really loose steering box. Nice KB's!

One thing I didn't see in your front disc brake conversion (or I just missed it) was any mention of the spindles. Were they replaced with newer modern spindles and if so which ones. I really want to get away from the original 16" rims and tires.

Stock spindles and hubs. Just watch the back spacing on the wheels for clearance on the steering, my wheels are 15".

I don't suppose there is a decent replacement brake drum is there?? like an early ford or something.....something that actually exists and is affordable ?

I believe there are part numbers in the parts thread for replacement brake drums from a Ford.
