Scout 800 update

Hey All,
little update on the Scout 800 update.
motor is pulled and mostly cleaned. gasket set is here, cam bearings and lifters on the way from IHParts America. long way to go, but moving forward.

Not going too badly! Had my right knee replaced in January, having the other one done in June.
Still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up!

Those are the first closeups I've seen of your Scout. Looks more solid than most. Looks like a nice shop to work in, too.

I just lost out on a 1962 Scout. I had a deal with the owner who died before I could pick it up. His widow told me one of the boys decided he wanted it, of course. Yours looks like a good one.I have been trying to contact Suprjohn to buy the radio he has for sale.- Stickman 207
