Rear Brake Shoes on 1973 1600 Loadstar

The brake shoes on my 1973 1600 Loadstar have a Wagner-Lockheed Stamp FE-57513. They are 15"x4". I have looked online and both Euclid and Mentor Catalogs show the shoes as unavailable.
Other data I have is the FMSI Shoe Number is 375 and the FMSI Lining Number is 4645A
Does anyone know where I can buy these brake shoes?

are the metal parts damaged or so badly worn as not to be usable? If they are in good shape, look for a shop that can reline them. Check with some of the trucking companies, they probably have some of theirs relined.
Just a thought.

Good luck with those shoes. I am in the same boat with my front wheels. Just took off the right front drum because it was leaking fluid and found that the lower shoe had worn through the lining almost to metal so I need front shoes on that wheel. Checking into Napa tomorrow and hoping they will come up with something. Mine has the FA48 front axle, 2.5 inch shoes and 14 inch drum. Going to replace the hoses and wheel cylinders on that wheel too if I can get them.

Looks like I'll just have to have the shoes relined. Atlanta Safety Brake will do the 4 shoes for $152.00

My parts locator system shows 3 sets of the IH N.O.S. factory asbestos lining and 2 sets of IH N.O.S. factory non-asbestos lining available. Send me a P.M. if you want me to check pricing for you.

I have a lead on a place that will re-line my old shoes but have had no luck locating front drums anywhere yet. Might just have to go with the old ones that are already beyond acceptable wear limits .

Ralph, Saw your post in a thread about the front drums. What axle do you have? Are the wheels cast spoke or disc? Do you have an IH pn? There should be a PN on them though might be hard to read since it was in the mold and not always very deep.
I don't recall an aftermarket for that size,we only stocked a set of IH back in the day [for cast wheels].

My Loadstar has the cast 5 spoke wheels on the FA48 front axle. The drum numbers are 408109C1. It has Wagner FF55411 shoes and I was able to get the shoes re-lined at Traction Heavy Duty. Expensive but at this point I have to take what I can get. Drums might be available in a wreckers yard once the snow goes down enough to check. Just waiting on new wheel cylinders now.

I thought that might be the drum you have. I pulled it from my memory bank and Goggled it to see what happened. It does hit with most results for the military surplus vendors. You can get a price quote for free which I imagine would show availability too [?].
Months ago I contacted WBparts asking if they sell to the general public and got a nice response the next day stating they do. That may be your best bet and sure won't hurt to try.

Thanks Scott, that is an interesting link that might be worth checking further if I can't get decent used drums locally.
